Ms. Selvanayagi V,  Principal of Velammal Vidyalaya, Paruthipattu was conferred with the “SUSHMA SWARAJ WOMEN’S ICON AWARD 2022”,in a virtual ceremony held recently, wherein the Chief Guest was the Hon’ble Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Govt of Uttar Pradesh, Smt Prathiba Shukla.

She was awarded for her phenomenal journey and contribution in the field of education with diligence  and devotion towards illuminating young minds
and for empowering women in the education industry. 

The event was  organised by the National Institute of Education.
