Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organised a one day  workshop for the Students  of   Class 6 &7 on ‘Basic Aero space modelling held at the CNR Hall of Excellence on 1st August, 2022 .. 

This unique workshop got Velammal to script it’s name in the RAABA BOOK OF WORLD  RECORDS 2022 for the First ever record created by the  YOUNGEST batch of STUDENTS MAKING MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GLIDERS IN AEROMODELLING  WORKSHOP.

The experts Mr. Balaji Varadhan CEO and Co- Founder of Village Technology School and Mr. Balaji Thiru, CEO and Founder of Robotics Foundation of Tamilnadu presided over the session  explaining the theory on how the design of the gliders were developed and further engaged as many as 200 students to make  Gliders. The children thoroughly enjoyed and learnt to facilitate the application of physics in real life. Infact it brought in fun and exciting elements to their learning process . 

 An exclusive initiative by Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus for the kids  to soar high with practical expertise in aero modelling to enlighten  their future.
